We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our friendly team.
The job consists of working in various areas of the catering business, assisting in the kitchen & Helping the chefs organise the food for the deliveries
Start time will vary and will be done on a 4 weekly rota basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves supporting the catering team in the kitchen ands delivering food to our customers homes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with food, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all catering processes.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and quality of food.
Help with stock management, including stock rotation and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is essential.
Knowledge of food safety practises and best practices is essential.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests & other employees.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
A background in food preparation is advantageous.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping others within the team.
