We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Vale Resort?as a Casual Night Leisure Housekeeping Assistant.

We are looking for a night housekeeping assistant who works to the high standards that are expected within the resort to maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness.

About the Role:

Duties include:

Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitising public areas, and restrooms. Handle laundry duties, including folding, and restocking linens. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards. Restock housekeeping supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is properly stored. Adhere to hotel policies, health, and safety regulations. Working flexibly overnight between the hours of 10pm & 6am.

About you:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during the shift. Willingness to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service

Leekes Retail was established in 1897 as an ironmonger in the Welsh Valleys and the group has grown and diversified over the last 120 years.

It remains a family business run by the fourth generation with the retail division trading from 4 large home department stores, 2 furniture stores and a builders' merchants, whilst the leisure group?two four-star hotels - the Vale Resort and a 17th century grade I listed castle Hensol Castle in addition to a gin distillery and visitor centre.
