Job Description

Purpose:

To assist us in the nationwide delivery and collection of electric hire vehicles to business customers and/or individuals. Job locations vary from local to nationwide. Our main car stock is sited in Yorkshire.

Primary Responsibilities:

We are seeking a number of individuals to assist us during busy periods when we have multiple deliveries to different locations or multiple vehicle deliveries to the same location.

The availability of work is based entirely around customer demand and it would be usual to expect a call from us to check your availability at any time, including out of business hours or weekends. We will endeavour to provide you with at least 24 hours notice of planned schedules. You are free to choose the hours you wish to work, however we require some degree of reliability to ensure we are able to provide continuity to our customers. As a guide, we expect to be able to offer you a minimum of one or two jobs a week up to a maximum of seven to eight. You will be required to fulfil the following tasks:

Delivery and collection of electric cars - local or nationwide Pre-delivery inspection of vehicle Provide customers with "know how" vehicle knowledge as appropriate Completion of handover or collection paperwork Check and record any existing damage (and agree with customer) before handover or collection
We welcome applications from all appropriately qualified candidates. However, we feel this would be particularly suited to those looking to earn extra income without the commitment of a full time job or specific hours. We also provide a lunch allowance in excess of 6 hours.

Responsibilities

To deliver and collect a variety of vehicles in keeping with the category of your licence entitlement To inspect all vehicles upon delivery and collection to ensure that any defects or damage is recorded, agreed and signed for by the customer, whilst maintaining a strong relationship with the customer Where appropriate to identify any faults on the vehicles and report as necessary To complete all necessary handover paperwork, such as rental check sheets etc ensuring that all details are correct and accurate Awareness of health and safety regulations with the ability to actively consider both your own health and safety and that of your colleagues

Skills/Qualifications:

Full, clean UK driving licence is essential with a minimum of 10 years experience.

Qualified candidates must also possess the following skills/abilities:
