Introduction

Lineage Logistics are the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics.

In our Bilsthorpe facility we supply food products to help keep schools, hospitals and restaurants stocked and supplied with food and drinks.

To support increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to pick products from our warehouse and prepare for these items to be distributed to our customers.

Available shifts include:

Sunday - Thursday 17:00-01:00

The role

In this role you will:

Get a lot of exercise being on your feet all day and walking around our warehouse; the job is quite physical, and you will need to lift items such as boxes of food and bottles of drinks

You will do this in either our Ambient warehouse or our Coldstore warehouse.

In our Coldstore warehouse you can expect the average temperature to be around -20 degrees, but you will receive full PPE if required to do so, it\xe2\x80\x99s just like working in a giant freezer.

You will need to be able to communicate well with other team members and on our Voice headsets to know what orders to pick

Pick products using a voice-controlled headset

Record the amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory

Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor

We are working in a safety conscious environment, and you will need to follow safety procedures at all times

Who we\'re looking for:

Accuracy is important so someone who likes to get things right first time

Things are heavy so you will need to lift up to 18kg (that\xe2\x80\x99s about 10 bags of sugar)

You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English

Due to limited public transport, you must have your own transport to NG22 8TX

Due to cold storage conditions, you must be aged 18 or over

A competitive starting pay rate of \xc2\xa311.79 per hour plus night shift allowance

We offer overtime after 39 hours paid at time and a half

5.6 weeks annual holiday depending on shift pattern, plus the opportunity to earn an additional days\xe2\x80\x99 holiday each year up to an extra week for length of service
