Job Description
MBS are seeking Carpenter / Joiners 1st & 2nd Fix preferably with in-date CSCS Cards, NVQ (City & Guilds) certification and a minimum of 5 years qualified experience for an immediate start. Allowances will be made for notice periods for the right candidates. Salary will depend on experience and a full, up-to date CV is required in the first instance. You must also be able to be processed for an Enhanced DBS check due to the nature of some of our work.
You should be able to work as part of a team and take direction from the Site Managers or Contract Managers, as well as be able to work confidently alone on small works.
Candidates should have their own tools, a full UK driving licence and their own transport. However, there is the possibility of a company vehicle.
MBS Building & Maintenance works on a variety of construction projects including new builds, extensions, conversions, renovations and repairs & maintenance etc. within the residential, commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial sectors to name but a few. Our main area of work is in the South West of Devon.
Annual Leave is accrued at 22 days pa + 8 Bank Holidays.
Overtime available.
