In this role, you'll be at the heart of the action -- providing essential clerical and customer service support, managing customs clearance processes, assisting with cash invoicing, and helping with warehouse operations when needed.

Responsibilities:

Day to day you will be responsible for:Basic Customs Clearance Process Cash Invoicing Quickly & accurately processing the documentation of cargo to be transported, making sure every piece of freight gets to the correct destination on time Accepting Dangerous goods Reception duties including but not limited to greeting clients and visitors, answering telephone queries, sorting post, filing etc. Comply with all relevant legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) Emailing & closing off end of day business
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will need to be or have:

In possession of at least three GCSE's or equivalent Flexible to work a variety of shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and public holidays) Ability to speak and understand the English language Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Must be IT literate and able to learn airline specific computer systems Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required Willingness to work in inclement weather if required Able to demonstrate good customer service Commitment to continuous improvement Self motivated and able to work independently * Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired
