Are you reliable, proactive, and looking for a part-time role in a welcoming environment? We are seeking a
Part-Time Caretaker
to support our library mainly during evening opening hours but will need to be flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the security and safety of the library during evening hours
Locking and unlocking the premises, ensuring all areas are secure
Light cleaning and general upkeep of library spaces
Assisting staff and visitors with basic facility-related needs
Reporting any maintenance or security issues to the manager
What We're Looking For:
A responsible and trustworthy individual with good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and handle basic maintenance tasks
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level
