In this role, you will offer compassionate care and support to our service users in the comfort of their own homes across Inverness. We have full-time positions available, which involve working on a structured shift pattern. The shifts are as follows: 7 AM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 10 PM.

For those who prefer a more flexible schedule, we also offer part-time positions. Part-time carers can work during both shifts, allowing for a customised work-life balance.

The successful applicants will be flexible to work the morning and late shifts and have a willingness to work towards their SVQ 2 in health and social care, which is funded by Gateway.

Responsibilities:

Assisting clients with personal care. Helping with medication reminders and administration. Supporting with meal preparation. Providing companionship and emotional support. Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or behaviour. Ensuring a safe and comfortable home environment.

Requirements:

Compassionate and empathetic nature. Good communication and listening skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in care work is desirable but not essential -- full training provided. An SVQ 2 in health and Social Care would be advantageous but not essential.

A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is essential
