Job Vacancy: Careers Adviser /Trainee Careers Adviser

Location - (Manchester)

We are looking to recruit a Careers Adviser/Trainee Careers Adviser to join our friendly community team in Manchester. They will become part of a team that provides careers support to 16\xe2\x80\x9318-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling training and employment opportunities. This varied, interesting and rewarding role will primarily be supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and who have Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs). This role will be based at our office at The Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side though you will work flexibly in venues in the community across Manchester.

You will join our team in the work that we do across the city and work closely with colleagues in partner organisations to help improve outcomes for young people. This will involve direct contact with young people, their parents/carers, and a range of professionals from support services, training providers and employers across the city, so excellent communication skills are essential, as are effective time management and the ability to travel independently.

Salary for the role is \xc2\xa325,466 - \xc2\xa328,817 for a 35-hour week and we have great great benefits and plenty of opportunities for staff training and internal progression.

We will also consider applications for a Trainee Careers Adviser role from applicants who have a relevant qualification and experience in a related role. This role would be paid at \xc2\xa325,252

Careers Adviser - Careers IAG Level 4 or Level 6 and relevant experience
