Part time, 30 hours per week. Working 5 days per week.

We are looking for a candidate that can work a mixture of shifts- Days, nights and weekends.
Morning shift - 7am - 3pm
Afternoon shift - 2pm - 10pm
Nights 9.30pm - 7.30am

Basic hourly rate - \xc2\xa312.62 per hour, up to \xc2\xa314.62 per hour with enhancement.

A night enhancement of \xc2\xa31.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of \xc2\xa32.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Oakwood is an acquired brain injury unit based in Offerton, Stockport. You will be supporting adults living with the effects of an acquired brain injury or associated neurological conditions.

Your new role

You will supervise a dedicated team ensuring a high level of care is delivered to people who use our service. This includes personal care, assistance with daily living tasks and activities, supporting our customers to attain their full potential, encouraging choice, participation and motivation. You will organise and manage the rota so that sufficient staff are provided at all times covering the needs of the service. You will receive ongoing training and development to build your skills, experience and career.

As a Team Leader/Senior Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire you will motivate and supervise your team, ensuring the delivery of care, personal support, daily living tasks and activities to our customers. You will provide support to attain full potential, maximising options available, encouraging choice, participation and motivation.

You will:

• Have a level of professional development and registration (i.e. NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ in team leading or management.
• Be experienced in working within a relevant care setting.
• Have experience in supervising a team.
• Be able to work flexibly within rostered hours and prepared to participate in an on-call rota as required.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Have a full, clean driving licence to travel and cover work allocated on the rota (Support at Home roles only).
