Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes
- Ensure food quality meets the highest standards
- Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Monitor and uphold food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook in a care home or similar setting
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques and food safety practices
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary terminology
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- Culinary qualification or relevant certification is advantageous
Level-2 in food and safety
Shift Pattern: 8.30 am to 17.00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
