Our Gorse Covert Day Centre offers a range of daytime activities in a structured environment, tailored to meet the needs of individuals with high levels of dependency and complex needs.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team at Gorse Covert Day Centre. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and support, facilitating activities, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support to clients with learning disabilities and autism. Assist clients in participating in various activities. Support clients in developing independent living skills. Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times. Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress. Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. A caring and empathetic nature. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable.
