Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant on all nights to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being

Roles available Nights , roles include 12 hour shifts and weekend working on a rota 1930-0730

Please note due to public transport, this role ideally needs to be a driver

Duties

- Support residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist in the implementation of care plans
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.
- Help residents with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required

Skills

- Experience or willingness to work in a care home environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in IT for record keeping and communication purposes
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Understanding of home care practices and procedures
