Milford Care are looking for permanent care assistants to join our fantastic, hard-working team at one of our care homes, The Meadows, Alfreton, working either

Days (39 hours per week)

or

nights (37 hours per week)

on a

full-time basis

.

The Meadows has achieved the Derbyshire Dementia Standards Award, which recognises the philosophy of the home to deliver "person-centred" care, delivered by well-trained and supported staff with the aim of 'bringing out the best in everybody'. The Meadows also hold The Derbyshire Dignity Campaign Award and The Derbyshire End of Life Quality Award, which in order to achieve, it had to be demonstrated that excellent End of life Care was delivered in a number of ways.

Details of these Care Assistants position and what the home is offering:

Permanent full-time contracts, working flexible day7am - 2pm or 2pm - 9pm) or night (9pm - 7am) shifts over a 7 day rota We have both day and night contracts available, please specify at interview which you would prefer. What We Are Looking For In a Caring Assistant:

To work in Care, you need the right qualities but gain the qualifications.

You must have some experience in a UK nursing home setting. Preferably you will have a keen interest in working in older peoples' services A flexible approach to shift patterns and able to adhere to a 7 day rota You will be compassionate and respectful and able to build relationships with colleagues and those that you care for
By becoming a care assistant, you can make all the difference in the world to a vulnerable person's everyday life.
