Job Description

We are looking for a Care Assistants for our Day Centre. The current role is for 12 hours per week, including some Bank hours, Monday to Friday. Hours are from 8:15/10:00 am start (depending on rota) to 4:00 pm. Pay is dependent on experience.

Key Tasks

To work as part of the Day Centre team reporting to the Day Centre Manager. To participate in the delivery of the client's personal care, including toileting, bathing and mobility, whilst promoting independence and person-centred care. To be involved in the planning of monthly activities and the delivery of a stimulating activities programme to clients. To appraise yourself of the client's care plans. Adhere to planned care, record all daily, personal and social care for your group of clients in attendance. To liaise with clients and kitchen team to ensure all dietary and nutritional needs are met. To assist clients at meal and refreshment times whilst ensuring all clients' needs are met. To maintain the safety and security of our clients and the Day Centre.
