Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Valeter / Vehicle Preparation Specialist to join our cleaning team based at our dealership in Victoria Bridge, Strabane, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, whilst having the ability to valet vehicles to an excellent standard.

Duties will include:

Cleaning and preparing new and used vehicles for retail presentation and delivery to customers.

Attending to minor blemishes and imperfections on vehicles both externally and internally using specified materials solvents and equipment.

To maintain the vehicle display areas in a clean and tidy condition and report defects.

To deliver or collect vehicles and undertake sundry errands.

To enhance the reputation of the dealership at every opportunity when interacting with others.

Applicants must:

Be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Meticulous attention to detail

Have experience in the use of machine spin polishing

Be able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision but also willing to work hard as part of a team

Be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner

Have excellent time keeping

Hold a full, clean UK Driving Licence

In addition to the above preference will be given to those candidates who have previous experience in a similar role within the Motor Trade.

A competitive salary is available for the right candidate.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm; Saturdays on a rota basis.
