Car Transporter Driver
Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Two Car Vehicle Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting vehicles to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. This is a full-time position based in Rugby.
No nights out, no weekend work and bank holidays off.
Excellent bonus to be paid quarterly.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles to deliver new vehicles to customers
- Load and unload cars/vans
- Ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Flexible start times, although some jobs have specific time windows for delivery
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and times
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
- Perform routine daily vehicle checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Requirements:
- Valid UK C1 + E driver's licence with no more than 6 points due to insurance purposes. No DD or DR offences. PLEASE NOTE A 107 RESTRICTION ON YOUR LICENCE IS NOT ALLOWED.
- Driver CPC Up-to-date
- Up-to-date Driver Card (Tacho Card)
- Experience is preferred but full training can and will be provided
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and routes
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
