The Manufacturing Site Engineering and Capital Director at Barnard Castle is responsible for transforming site engineering and capital projects to align with a future vision that is both capability and cost competitive. This role aims to establish Barnard Castle as a centre of excellence within GSK for engineering and capital project execution, managing a diverse portfolio that includes small molecule and oligo product production infrastructure.The role encompasses providing strategic leadership, aligning workforce capabilities with long-term objectives, and fostering high-impact stakeholder relationships. The director will oversee strategic business changes, promote continuous improvements in project management, and partner within GSK and the external engineering network to share best practices and foster innovation.Transforming older facilities and integrating them with new engineering capabilities.
