As part of our strategic growth, we are investing in our Service Department and are seeking a skilled and motivated Canon Field Service Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive group while continuing to grow and develop within a forward-thinking company.
2. Role Overview
As a Canon Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing and support of Canon MFD's, ImagePress and Pro-Print devices, including Fiery controllers and network integration. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, with an emphasis on first-time fix resolutions and delivering outstanding customer experience.
3. Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site and remote support for Canon MFDs, ImagePRESS, and Pro-Print devices
Configure and maintain Fiery print controllers and related software
Install and configure devices onto client networks, including scan-to-email and scan-to-folder setup
Resolve technical issues quickly and effectively, aiming for a high first-time fix rate
Maintain accurate, real-time service records and asset information
Deliver exceptional levels of customer service and build lasting client relationships
Escalate unresolved issues promptly to the Technical Supervisor/Service Manager.
Identify and report recurring issues to support continuous improvement
Ensure all service tickets are handled efficiently and in line with SLA expectations

5. Product Knowledge & Technical Requirements
Canon-trained to service and maintain Canon MFDs, ImagePRESS, and Pro-Print devices
Experienced with Fiery print controllers and connected software
Understanding of networking fundamentals relevant to MFD connectivity
Confident in configuring scan-to-email and scan-to-folder across various environments
6. Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence (required)
Work Authorisation: Must be eligible to work in the UK
Location: Must be based in or willing to travel throughout London
7. Review Process
Regular performance reviews will be conducted by the Service Manager. Key performance indicators will include:
First-time fix rate
SLA adherence
Customer satisfaction
Ticket resolution efficiency

Pay: From 36,000.00 per year
