We are looking for a talented Full Time Cafe Supervisor to join the team at our cafe located within the stunning and historic British Museum.

The cafes at The British Museum serve freshly made coffee, sandwiches, salads, and cakes.

Please note: We are a 7 day operation, we require full time availability, fully flexible staff Monday-Sunday. Our hours are 9 am-6:30 pm every day, except Fridays which may require a later finish of 9pm. Full time staff will work 5 day weeks.

About the Cafe Supervisor role:

• To oversee the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our product and the service we provide are of highest standard at all times
• To support management team in working towards improving sales and service
• Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
• Act as manager in management absence and motivate the team
• Cash up duties after training
• Stock control
• Schedule design and daily allocation of tasks.

About you:

• A Caf\xc3\xa9 Supervisor experienced working in high volume caf\xc3\xa9 or restaurant.
• Excellent communicator and leader with the ability to motivate and inspire
• The ideal candidates will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service, and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: \xc2\xa311.75 per hour

Qualifications

Experience:

• Supervising: 1 year (required)
• Coffee: 1 year (preferred)
• Cash handling: 1 year (required)
• Customer service: 1 year (required)
