We're excited to announce that Rainbowls has opened a brand new cafe in Montpellier, Cheltenham - our second location in town! Following the success of our cafes in Bristol, Worcester, and Fairview Cheltenham, expanding to Montpellier was the perfect next step. This vibrant new space is filled with the same energy, creativity, and feel-good vibe that our customers love.

As we grow, we're looking to expand our team to support this exciting new chapter. We have several positions available, including weekend-only roles, and are seeking experienced baristas and motivated individuals to join us as Baristas and Cafe Assistants. At Rainbowls, we offer a wide variety of nourishing dishes, including smoothie bowls, poke bowls, buddha bowls, acai bowls, superfood lattes, and more, all served in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

Our Rainbowls Team is growing!

We are a vibrant cafe located in Cheltenham, and are dedicated to serving high-quality dishes such as poke bowls and acai bowls. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond culinary delight to ensuring impeccable Food Standards Agency (FSA) standards. We are currently seeking a skilled Cafe Assistants who are barista-trained, passionate about food, and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with precision and artistry. Ensure consistency in coffee quality and presentation according to established standards. Maintain a clean and organized coffee station

Food Preparation:

Prepare poke bowls, acai bowls, and other menu items with attention to detail and adherence to recipes. Ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with FSA standards for hygiene and safety. Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimise waste and ensure freshness.

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and assist them in making menu selections. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints courteously and professionally. Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to enhance the overall customer experience.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the cafe, including eating areas, food prep areas, and toilets. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to uphold hygiene standards. Conduct regular equipment maintenance and report any issues to management promptly.

Cash Handling and Closing Duties:

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Perform cashing up duties if on the closing shift. Secure the premises at the end of the day, ensuring all doors and windows are locked.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to coordinate tasks and resolve issues. Demonstrate flexibility to work independently as well as part of a team as per business needs.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques. Previous food prep experience would be ideal but not essential Knowledge of Food Standards Agency (FSA) regulations and a commitment to upholding high hygiene standards. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
