Join us for a rewarding career as an Agency Family Court Advisor, located in Stevenage and covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire under the CAFCASS umbrella.

This role offers a competitive pay rate of \xc2\xa337.25 per hour.

Key Responsibilities and Roles:

As an Agency Family Court Advisor, your role encompasses:

Delivering top-notch safeguarding and child protection advice, assessments, and analysis to the Court, focusing on the needs and best interests of children engaged in Family Proceedings.
Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the child throughout Cafcass involvement in the case.
Managing incidents or potential risks of significant harm to the child, adhering to Local Safeguarding Childrens Board (LSCB) procedures and Cafcass policies.
Providing advanced social work services to children, families, and courts, including evaluating court applications related to child protection and significant welfare issues. This involves influencing those with parental responsibility to center their decisions on the childs welfare, advising the courts and Local Authorities on safeguarding concerns, and enhancing a childs quality of life while supporting judicial case management.
Keeping the child at the heart of your work by engaging directly with children and their families, along with conducting in-depth analysis and assessment.
Excelling as a skilled negotiator, collaborating effectively with family members and professionals for the benefit of the child.
Maintaining a strong focus on the childs timeline, considering their journey through childhood and, if applicable, the care system. Your role also entails ensuring the childs voice is heard and valued within the court setting.
Demonstrating resilience, reflection, and accountability as a practitioner, coupled with proficient IT and organizational skills to efficiently handle a substantial caseload.
