Job description:

We are currently looking for a CAD technician to join our team & work alongside our inhouse project managers. Whilst working closely with interior designers, architects & main contractors, the candidate will be responsible for taking client concept drawings & producing detailed production drawings for client approval & the workshop floor.

Job Role:

- Coordinating between other trades

- Producing production drawings for inhouse manufacture, sub-contracted components & installation

- Quantifying materials/components & allocating to specific jobs

- Working with inhouse project managers for efficient day to day running of the each project

- Managing the design process through to completion

Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD & Solidworks required

- Good knowledge of CNC capabilities required

- Minimum 5 years experience within the furniture/joinery industry

- Preferably some bench work experience

- Excellent knowledge of furniture and joinery construction methods

- Ability to keep and maintain good quality records and follow procedures

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

- Positive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement
