About the role
Job Title: Buyers Admin Assistant Reports To: Buyer/Senior Buyer/Buying Manager Accountable For: MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Update and maintain accurate manual and computerised records
- Input orders onto the schuh system
- Action any order amendments under the direction of the Buying team
- Process order confirmations
- Work with the Buying team to ensure deliveries are running on time
- Liaising with other Head Office departments when required
- Produce, maintain and collate reporting information. Will demonstrate basic understanding of Trade and Monday reporting
- Demonstrate trend awareness and show understanding of competition
- Supporting the Buyers/Buying Manager/HOB/Buying Director in any other areas required
- Ensure all communication adheres to the GDPR policies
- Work with own initiative and as part of the wider team
- Understand and comply with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Health & Safety policy & procedures
- Carry out any other duties as required by Company management
