What you'll be doing
As a Buyer you will be responsible for:
Fulfilling requisitions on behalf of the business
Projects POC for the North East Delivery Unit, to provide support, resolve queries and offer advice
Ensuring internal spend compliance
Sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations
Conducting tender processes
Supplier meetings and engagement
Creation of Supply Chain Strategies
Management of Procurement Schedules
Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders
Identifying key trends or opportunities for cost reduction
Negotiating discounts and savings & ensuring accurate reporting of such along with value add activities
Supplier performance management
Ensuring adherence to procurement processes and procedures
Who we're looking for

Demonstrates strong written and verbal skills
Knowledge of Subcontract Procurement Process (desired)
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
