Butchery Assistant - EUROSPAR CULLYBACKEY, 100 MAIN STREET, CULLYBACKEY, CO ANTRIM, BT42 1BWFull-Time position, 42.5 hours per week, working within the hours of Monday to Saturday, 6am to 6pm, with a degree of flexibility required.Would you like to learn a new skill and develop your career within a growing area of the business?At Henderson Retail. As a Butchery Assistant, you will have the opportunity to undertake an accredited learning programme (subject to eligibility criteria) and develop your skills for potential future progression within Henderson Retail Butchery operations.Your rate of pay will be up to xc2xa312.20 per hour on starting, with opportunities for this to be increased as you train and develop your skills.Who are we?

You'll join our friendly team to deliver first class customer service, quality & presentation at the butchery counter, maintain great hygiene standards prepare a range of pre- packed products and preparing meat for display following company standards.Duties of the role will include:

• Cutting and preparing meat products to pre-set standards.
• Ensuring that all hygiene and cleanliness procedures are followed at all times.
• Providing and excellent counter service to our customers- listening to their needs and providing expert advice on our products.

Great training will also be provided, and there'll be opportunities to progress your career within our Butchery Concessions as you develop your skills.Skills for Success

Due to the safety requirements within a butchery counter, candidates must be aged 18 years or above.Desirable Skills
Although not essential, it would be ideal if you have:

• Previous retail experience or experience working within a customer facing role
• Previous experience working within a meat/ poultry service environment.
