Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team. As a Kilnford Butcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and freshness of our meat products (all beef and lamb are raised on our own farm). Your responsibilities will include preparing, cutting, and packaging various types of meat, as well as providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of different cuts of meat, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for delivering high-quality products and high quality service.
Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed in the butchery. Assist in butchering and preparing meats for cooking. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during service. Monitor food production levels and assist in inventory management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butchery and workstations.
Qualifications
Proficient in food preparation and butchery techniques Strong understanding of food safety regulations Experience in food production and culinary practices Background in butchery ans retail environments Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality in food service
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 25,900.00-31,000.00 per year
