Key responsibilities and Role Information

The role is within the HSBC AMG (Asset Management Group) Data Organization and reports to the Global Data Change Manager. The role holder will support the Global Data Change Manager, to ensure change within the Data Managements Team and wider teams is aligned to the Business needs through analysis and test verification.

Role Profile:

\xc2\xb7 Develop good understanding of the HSBC AMG Data Domains, Architecture, Services and Governance Framework and support their adoption within AMG

\xc2\xb7 Develop an in depth understanding of the Investment Data Services and build strong relationships with the service providers and internal stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Work with the aligned Project teams towards the implementation of a new Middle Office System across multiple locations.

\xc2\xb7 Work with the aligned Project Teams to define requirements, meansure impact and confirm the results.

\xc2\xb7 Work with the aligned Project Teams to define Terms of Reference and BAU Operating Models.

\xc2\xb7 Fully understand the process for adding and removing new or existing data sets from the AMG data domains.

\xc2\xb7 Investigate and perform root cause analysis around data integrity issues and process failures, and support the implementation of solutions via the appropriate change forums

Knowledge and Experience / Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Experience within an Asset Management organization

\xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of Investment Data

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Middle Office Implementation and development

\xc2\xb7 Experience working within and across large Project Teams

\xc2\xb7 Excellent written skills, with the ability to condense multiple inputs into written requirements

\xc2\xb7 Experience working with data

\xc2\xb7 Experience with test planning, execution and defect tracking

\xc2\xb7 Experience and drive to defect/buy tracking, retest and resolution

\xc2\xb7 Good written and verbal communication for stakeholder and vendor interaction

\xc2\xb7 Strong Analytical/problem solving skills including use of MS Excel (including vlookups, if functions)

\xc2\xb7 Ability to reconcile datasets

\xc2\xb7 Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Word, Visio, PowerPoint

\xc2\xb7 Good SQL skills

\xc2\xb7 Project lifecycle - both waterfall and agile.
