Business Support Officer

Birmingham, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable administration expert to join our Quality Team in the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Provider Collaborative. This post is initially for a 12-month fixed term contract but we would also consider anyone who would be interested in a secondment from their existing role, providing you will receive support to be released.

You will join a small but friendly and supportive team of clinical colleagues who work across the system to maintain oversight of quality of care to all Birmingham and Solihull citizens needing care for mental illness, learning disability or autism. Some of this work is transactional in order to be assured that quality is where it should be, some is responsive so that immediate concerns and needs are resolved and some is transformational, where we work collectively as a system to transform how we deliver services for the better. You will work with all sorts of colleagues from front line clinicians to board members, and regulators such as the CQC. Most importantly, you will also have the opportunity to work with patients and experts by experience as we support individuals with their care, or work to ensure that we hear the patient voice in our governance structures.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for the next step in their career as we will support your development and give you lots of opportunity to develop new skills.
