Business Support Manager
to join our team.
Role Overview
The Business Support Manager will play a key role in identifying, onboarding, and managing relationships with EV charging hardware and related product manufacturers. You'll work closely with both our technical and operations teams to ensure our product offering is competitive, reliable, and aligned with customer needs. This is a cross-functional role that blends supplier research, partnership management, and technical communication.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Research & Selection
Conduct in-depth research to identify and evaluate suitable manufacturers and suppliers of EV chargers (AC and DC), payment terminals, battery storage systems, solar panels, and other related components.
Assess product quality, certification compliance, scalability, and pricing competitiveness.
Manufacturer Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with manufacturing partners.
Coordinate with suppliers on order fulfilment, product updates, roadmap alignment, and ongoing performance reviews.
Issue Resolution & Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for communicating product-related issues (hardware or software) to manufacturers.
Work closely with technical teams to collect, report, and follow up on issues until satisfactory resolution is confirmed.
Product Development Support
Collaborate with VoltShare's Development team to evaluate and test new product features and integration opportunities.
Provide feedback to suppliers based on market and customer needs to influence product improvements.
What We're Looking For
Experience in hardware procurement, supplier management, or technical account management, ideally in a technology, renewable energy, or EV-related field.
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to technical detail.
Previous work experience in the EV charging, automotive, or related industries is strongly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for both internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a startup/scale-up environment - proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented.
Familiarity with EV charging products or renewable energy systems is a strong plus.
Being able to communicate using Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is advantageous
Happy to travel internationally for supplier and business partner meetings
