Vale Domestic Abuse Service provides specialist support to women and children who have been subjected to violence against women, domestic abuse and/or sexual violence (VAWDASV). You can find out more about us
The purpose of this role is to provide financial and administrative tasks for Vale Domestic Abuse Services. Approximately a quarter of the job will be finance administration and the rest Operations and general administration work.
Key areas of focus will be on financial administration, health & safety and quality checking of CRM information.

What this job does
Finance administration, which includes:
Sales Ledger
Purchase ledger
Supplier payments
Assist the Finance Manager with financial administration eg monitoring rents and housing benefit income
Operations Team administration, which includes:
Client Administration Management including checking data prior to closure, sending out evaluation links and collating reports
Assist the leadership team in the implementation of information management systems and assets
General Administration
Assisting Finance Manager with facilities management
Answering general telephone and finance email enquiries
Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality

The Ideal candidate:
Is skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and accounting software (or is prepared to learn!)
Is able to manage time, multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
Is familiar with document management systems and practices for accurate recordkeeping and easy retrieval.
Can identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
Has a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, data entry, and communication.
Can collaborate with colleagues and contributing positively to team dynamics and projects
