Job Title: Business Support Apprentice

Location: Whitstable

Salary: \xc2\xa320,000 per annum

My client, a Manufacturing Company based in beautiful Whitstable is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Business Support Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in a growing industry, offering excellent progression prospects and invaluable on-the-job training.

The role is to support the Production Manager by managing the schedule and ensuring they meet deadlines. This role also includes serving as a backup for the Production Manager\'s purchasing duties and managing other ad hoc requests.

During the training program, you will be expected to develop the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to positively contribute to the company\'s growth. My client is looking to expand their production capacity to increase sales and ultimately lead to better financial results.

Qualifications and Experience: All training can be provided

• Current First Aider at Work certificate
• Prior experience as a Fire Marshal
• Forklift truck license
• Manual handling experience
• Lean manufacturing, planning, purchasing, and H&S training experience

Skills and Attributes:

• Effective communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and self-driven mindset
• Positive attitude and good sense of humour
• Advanced IT skills with IFS system, email and strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Flexibility \xe2\x80\x93 they currently work as a 24/5 operation, and some weekend shifts may be needed occasionally
