We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated Business Support Administrator to join us.
You will provide business support in the busy, complex and rewarding area of ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment) to support Newly qualified Social Workers in their first year of employment. Your tasks will include disseminating information to mentors, mentees and other agencies, responding to queries, booking venues for training, keeping accurate records, monitoring grants and payments.
You will have relevant previous administrative experience and demonstrate good word processing skills, be competent in the use of spreadsheets and able to work with ICT systems including SharePoint, MS Office applications and other bespoke systems.
You will be the only Business Support Administrator within this team and as such is the first port of call for anyone telephoning or emailing. You will demonstrate excellent customer care and effective communication and time management skills. You will be a good listener and pay attention to detail as you handle confidential information in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Applicants should be able to work under pressure and to deadlines. As the ideal candidate you will be highly organised and able to use your initiative.
You will be supported by immediate colleagues in this challenging and very rewarding area of work and the wider business support team.
Nottinghamshire County Council offer hybrid working and there is the expectation that this post will work from home but go into Meadow House, Mansfield when required. This role is for 18.5 hours per week, working pattern over three days which will be agreed with the successful candidate.
