Business Studies Lecturer (hourly Paid Lecturer)

Are you passionate about empowering the next generation of young people? Look no further! London\'s leading College group is looking to recruit an exceptional Business Studies Lecturer to join our friendly humanities team at Westminster Kingsway College.
About the role:
We are looking for someone with previous experience teaching A Level Business who can deliver quality driven, creative lessons in line with the departmental teaching and learning policy. You will be required to teach the A-level Business courses (both year 12 and year 13) with other curriculum responsibilities that include assessment, feedback, student pastoral care, tracking student achievement and maintain high quality standards in line with awarding organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver teaching and learning materials.
- Plan lessons that differentiate students based on ability and individual needs.
- Closely monitor progress of all students.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of individual students.
- Set SMART aspirational targets for students.
- Encourage and offer feedback to guide students to achieve higher grades.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep timely records of student progress.
Westminster Kingsway College is a further education college in central London with centres in Camden and Westminster. It offers a huge array of academic and vocational courses for 16-19-year-olds and adult learners, such as A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships, Foundation Degrees, Access to Higher Education, employability training and short courses. It also offers bespoke training for employers and specialist programmes delivered in conjunction with the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy.
Westminster Kingsway is an award-winning provider of hospitality and culinary arts courses.
