Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Project Manager for a 6 Month contract based in London (Hybrid).

Purpose of the Role:

• Deliver the development of a new platform to support customer journeys to implement energy, emissions and home efficiency. The Project Manager will drive dependencies, risk review documents, manage and own all governance elements.

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Business Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Prepare, manage and provide reporting on all project plans, controls and resource plans. You\'ll make sure that activities are in place to adequately prepare the business and engage all the appropriate stakeholders effectively to enable change to be implemented and handed over.
• Identify, track, manage and mitigate any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
• Lead and define the production of a project initiation document and make sure that the solution clearly supports and is aligned to our strategic goals.
• Analyse the appropriate statements and prepare estimates for approval.
• Support the creation of a financial business case.
• Track and report project costs and make sure that the project is completed in allotted budgets.
• Make sure that all project deliverables satisfy the requirements and that they adhere to the agreed governance framework.

What we require from the candidate:

• Experience in regulated project work.
• Previous experience in Financial Services, ideally Retail Banking.
• Experience of delivering a broad set of projects (Business and technology).
• Experience with Agile Ways of Working (WoW) including managing product backlogs, sprint planning and managing scrum teams.
• Knowledge of PlanView is highly beneficial.
