Contract Type: PermanentAbout the RoleAs the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the schoolxe2x80x99s business operations. Youxe2x80x99ll be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to manage budgets, oversee administrative functions, ensure compliance with policies, and drive operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in the education sector, ideally with previous school experience, to help us maintain high standards of financial management, operations, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities

• Financial management: Oversee budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting to ensure the schoolxe2x80x99s financial health and compliance with regulations.
• Staff management: Manage HR processes including recruitment, payroll, and staff welfare, ensuring effective staffing solutions.
• Premises management: Oversee health and safety, facilities management, and maintenance of school buildings.
• Procurement: Manage purchasing and contracts, ensuring value for money in school supplies and services.
• Policy and compliance: Ensure the school is compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Strategic planning: Support the leadership team with long-term financial and operational planning.

• Proven experience as a Business Manager, with a strong understanding of financial and administrative processes.
• Ideally, school experience or a background in the education sector, with knowledge of school budgets and the unique operational needs of educational institutions.
