The Role
We are looking for teachers to tutor in Business English on our Business and Management Courses. These courses are designed for both undergraduates interested in Business Management and master's graduates who already have professional experience in management. The focus of the lessons will be on developing students' communication skills, helping them to navigate everyday business contexts with confidence.
We will be running these courses from 7th July 2024 - 24th July 2024:
The teaching week runs Monday-Thursday and sessions from 10.00-12.30 & 14:30-17:00.
Teaching hours will be fixed and range from 6.75 -15.75 hours per week depending on the numbers of classes taught.
Teaching materials will be provided.
Key duties & responsibilities
Provide quality Business English lessons to adult learners at Intermediate level and above
Familiarise yourself with our materials and prepare lessons adequately
Administrative work (registers, records of work etc.)
Adhere to the company safeguarding policy
Maintain a friendly but professional manner at all times
Knowledge, qualifications, and experience
Essential
An undergraduate/university degree
A CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL (certain other qualifications will be accepted provided they meet specific requirements)
Experience teaching Business English
A passion for teaching and inspiring students
Desirable
DELTA or Trinity Diploma
Professional experience working in a business environment.
Skills and Attributes
Fluent in English
Positive attitude and ability to build good rapport with students and team members
Committed to continuous professional development always seeking to build on and improve current teaching skills
Organised and confident in planning and adapting materials to suit your classes' needs
