For this role your focus will be Advertising, Social and Design working with a bunch of incredible clients, including Network Rail, Glen's Vodka, ScotRail, National Trust for Scotland and East Midlands Railway to name but a few.

Responsibilities / Position overview:

We're on the hunt for a dynamic Business Development and Marketing Trailblazer ready to shake things up and amplify our market reach. This isn't a role for the faint-hearted. You'll be at the forefront, spearheading bold business development initiatives and crafting killer marketing campaigns that grab attention and drive serious growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Business Development

+ Identify and research potential new markets, clients, and partnership opportunities.
+ Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve organizational growth objectives.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including prospective clients, partners, and industry influencers.
+ Network actively at industry events, conferences, and through professional connections to generate leads and build brand awareness.
+ Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
+ Track and report on business development activities, providing regular updates on progress against targets.
+ Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations, product development) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.

Marketing:

+ Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital marketing, content marketing, social media, email marketing, public relations).
+ Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
+ Oversee the creation of engaging and effective marketing materials, including website content, whitepapers, and social media posts.
+ Manage and optimize the company's online presence, including website, social media platforms, and SEO/SEM activities.
+ Plan and execute marketing events, webinars, and workshops to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
+ Track and analyse marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports on key metrics and ROI.
+ Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication efforts.


Qualifications:
Proven track record of at least 4 years of experience in business development and / or marketing roles Strong understanding of sales processes, marketing principles, and digital marketing strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically, analyse market trends, and develop innovative solutions. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Demonstrable success in achieving revenue targets and building strong client relationships is highly desirable. Previous experience in a creative agency is highly desirable.
