Your Role
As a Business Development Manager you will be working under the direction of the Sales and Commercial Directors and will be supported by the Group's marketing department to identify and pursue new business opportunities for refrigerated vehicle conversions.
Ranging from small panel vans, right up to large 26t HGV's, Coolfreeze offer the complete range for their customers, so this gives you maximum scope for success, you are not limited by just one type of vehicle! Coolfreeze has recently expanded into a second factory, which means they have scope to complete orders for new customers in the next few months, this means you can really hit the ground running if you unearth new opportunities.
They handle all types of customers, ranging from one-off conversions to large fleet conversions of 100 vans/trucks. They also hold their own stock with very competitive pricing (as we are part of the Rygor Group), so you can directly supply any customers.
Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth by generating new business opportunities for vehicle conversions with customers, leasing companies and commercial vehicle dealers.
Coolfreeze is looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills and experience selling commercial vehicles is desirable. Experience in the refrigerated transport industry is a huge advantage.
Day to day you will:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through thorough research and networking.
Develop a pipeline of qualified leads by targeting companies with fleet requirements for refrigerated vehicles, and work with commercial vehicle dealers to assist them with their conversion requirements.
Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
Understand and anticipate customer needs, providing personalised solutions that align with their specific requirements.
Create tailored quotations and proposals that address the unique needs and challenges of each customer, ensuring a perfect fit for their fleet requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer specifications and exceed their expectations.
Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the benefits of Coolfreeze refrigerated conversions.
Office-based with travel required nationwide to visit customer sites and conduct face-to-face meetings.
Meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service and account management.
