Job Title - Business Development Manager
Hours - 37 hours per week
Location - South East England - Remote with monthly visit to HQ in Glasgow
Contract - Permanent
Salary - \xc2\xa340,000 + Bonus
Talento Group is delighted to be working with a leading provider of R&D Tax Claims services. We are actively seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to join their team and support the success of the business.
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a field-based Business Development Manager to join a rapidly expanding financial services business. Your role will be to generate leads and identify businesses who have invested in innovation, making them aware of how they can achieve a maximised R&D Tax Claim. You will be a self-starter, who will generate your own leads, learn the narratives around face-to-face communications with potential clients, and be an expert at objection handling.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in all things R&D, Patent Box, Capital Allowances and Land Remediation
- Achieve and exceed set targets and attain new clients
- Generate long lasting revenue streams
- Assist the department manager by constant communication & enhancement of processes
- Visit clients premises when necessary and attain a thorough understanding of the technical and fiscal requirements
- Understand the current process and how to produce technical narratives along with the production of the corresponding financial information
- Represent the company at networking events to promote brand awareness and generate new leads
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience or Education in the energy sector, preferably technical sales role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas and quarterly sales targets
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident proficiency in objection handling
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints -
- Self-starter & great communicator who can show initiative
- Introduce our services to SME businesses around Scotland and the UK
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify solutions for complex business challenges.
Essential skills:
- Proven experience as Business Development Manager
- Experience within one or more of the following industries
- Software, Construction, Food or Farming & Agriculture would be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a robust network in the South East of England and UK.
- Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships
