What are we looking for?

  • We are looking for a full 360 experienced sales professional to join our MED team at Cision to pitch our full suite of services to brand new prospects in the PR and Comms space. We are looking for someone passionate about sales who wants to join an already successful sales team selling a market-leading solution.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Position the value of Cision\'s offering through inbound and outbound methodology across Italy and Med Region
  • Educate and guide the prospects through the buyer\'s journey and help them understand the value of Cision for their organisation
  • Proactively follow up and self-sourced for leads via cold calling, outreach and LinkedIn
  • Ensure regular contact with clients and prospects on the phone, Zoom and face to face meetings
  • Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify engage and develop relationships with potential buyers
  • Hit KPIs
  • Conduct effective online demonstrations of our service through online meetings and occasionally face-to-face.
  • Become an ambassador for Cision by developing strong relationships with customers
  • Report weekly activity
  • Ensure potential and developing accounts are adequately referenced on our CRM system and the system is being used accordingly to establish good practise
  • Comply with all company policies (for example, data protection, equal opportunities, diversity and confidentiality)
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working in Italy and the Mediterranean region
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Ability to travel regularly
  • Proven track record of successfully hitting targets and growing clients pipeline
  • Experience in building new relationships and hunting new business
  • Experience in selling SaaS solutions
  • Enterprise-level sales experience
  • Availability to research and identify quality prospects
  • Experience or a keen interest in PR, marketing and/or the media industry
  • Experience in complex, consultative or solution sales to high-value accounts
  • Ability to sell across a varied but intrinsically linked product range
  • Demonstrable experience in selling to all levels both on the phone and face to face and negotiating deals with C-level decision-makers
  • Good team player.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and able to remain corporately focused
  • Have the energy and drive to work under pressure to hit tight targets.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills with high attention to detail
