Business Development Manager - B2B SaaS - Aviation / Aerospace Industry Remote - Based anywhere in the UK. Basic Salary: \xc2\xa360,000 - \xc2\xa370,000 - OTE \xc2\xa3120,000 Applause IT are looking to hire a Business Development Manager for a global leading record management solutions provider, working within the travel industry. Partnering with over 75 major airlines worldwide, they are a global player, providing market leading software and comprehensive solutions to create a digital replica of aircraft maintenance records. The Role: The Business Development Manager (B2B SaaS) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing and implementing sales strategies.

  • Prospect, identify, develop and close new customers in order to achieve a new business sales target.
  • Contacting targeted clients using "Cold" Outreach via multi-channel approach.
  • Creating personalised and well written outreach content to attract new customers.
  • Develop campaigns in line with marketing to generate a significant pipeline of new customer leads.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay current with emerging trends and to provide a presence.
  • Ensure that detailed records are kept within the internal CRM for all client / prospect activity and keep pipeline and sales information up to date.
The successful candidate should have:
  • Experience in a Business Development and/or Sales orientated role within SaaS is a
  • Experience within the travel industry is
  • Experience qualifying a candidate as per MEDDIC Concept.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to organise and coordinate complex activities within interrelated schedules and timelines, to demonstrate sound judgment, and task orientation.
  • Ability to take responsibility for managing a territory to achieve target and key performance indicators.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
