About The Role Groundwork Northern Ireland are currently recruiting a part-time Business Development Lead who will be responsible for leading on commercial proposals, tender submissions and funding applications. They will develop and maintain relationships with funders, corporate donors, trusts and foundations and other third sector organisations. The post-holder will be a motivated and experienced individual with sound business acumen who will identify and develop new initiatives, markets and opportunities for income generation. They will be able to communicate clearly and work effectively with a range of key partners and stakeholders within a multi-disciplinary team, working with colleagues across the Trust and the Groundwork Federation. This role will be varied and rewarding and will play a key role in supporting the work of the Trust while supporting management and the promotion of Groundwork NI. The Business Development Lead will have excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, as well as first-rate communication skills and the ability to work in a professional manner. They will be able to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions and be self-motivated, with a strong personal commitment to the values of Groundwork NI.
