As a Business Development Director, you'll be integral to helping grow Amber by helping match our customers with our commercially astute, impactful products. You will be dealing with a wide range of client size, type and sector however predominantly this role will manage our Property clients, leads and tenders. To be successful in this role you'll need to understand our customer needs quickly and provide commercially minded solutions to their challenges.

This role offers a commission structure which is paid quarterly.###

What will you be doing?





Work closely with the Sales Director to develop and agree a strategy for pipeline development that is supported by process and management information Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for sectors / verticals, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products Supporting Senior Business Development Managers Ensure that CRM (Salesforce) is accurately maintained to provide visibility of sales by stage and associated success metrics Own c-suite relationships to enable great discovery of the clients and their business's pain points and needs to allow you to clearly articulate Ambers solutions Work closely with the Sales Director reporting on forces that shift tactics, budgets, and strategic direction of accounts / sectors Understand landscapes and trends and competitor strengths and weaknesses, share insights on changing trends, economic indicators with the broader team Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives, build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships that they want to shout about Communicate the value proposition simply, honestly, and effectively through proposals and presentations and manage objections positively Owning top tier Amber customers new or existing from the first point of contact to the BAU environment ensuring we are best placed to retain them from a commercial perspective Work on and own RFP/tender processes for new business and existing clients Generate leads and opportunities to support the growth of yours and Ambers client portfolio

Accomplished salesperson - can draw on a diverse toolkit of skills needed to open doors and close deals ethically and transparently, drawing on a broad experience of delivering a sales target in a complex B2B environment Working experience within the property sector A proven history of building and maintaining your own pipeline, whilst being able to keep a good cadence of deal closure A strong commercial acumen and the ability to be able to make the complex simple Data driven - using data to identify trends and priorities Excellent presentation skills to influence, build credibility and convey complex information simply Skilful relationship builder, persuasive and technical trained to own and control sales meetings and objections Highly organised - monitors and enforces the process and behaviours needed to achieve success Proven record of successfully closing high value deals An excellent communicator through any medium, with a track record of being able to convey complex issues clearly and succinctly
