Flexible / Hybrid \xe2\x80\x93 with an office base in Bristol.

Within their UK & European team, they have significant growth plans. With our support, they have an immediate requirement in their Growth & Sales team for an experienced, and relationship-based, Senior Inside Sales & Proposal Manager. This role will expose you to the heart of the business, sitting at the forefront of delivering their Boldly Moving Forward Strategy and UK/Europe Roadmap.

About the Opportunity: You will have a proven track record of work winning in the UK Defence and Intelligence sector.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform the role of Business Development Director facing into Defence and Intelligence customers to support the group and the domain strategy for Secure Information Systems.
  • To identify, qualify and pursue cyber security and digital solutions opportunities predominantly but not exclusively into UK MoD (Defence Digital..) Develop and grow the pipeline.
  • Support and closely coordinate with the VP, and the Regional Group Director to support cross- and up-selling of services into existing customers.
  • Liaise and coordinate across other lines of business to market relevant solutions into other customers and programmes.
  • Liaise and coordinate with designated US colleagues.
  • Develop presence in the market through:
o Collateral development

o Value proposition development

o Sales \xe2\x80\x98campaign\xe2\x80\x99 leadership

o \xe2\x80\x98Regionalisation\xe2\x80\x99 of US-sourced content
  • Coordination of original content development \xe2\x80\x93 white papers, conference presentations etc.
  • Membership of professional bodies \xe2\x80\x93 TechUK, learned societies etc. Identify and qualify potential partners and subconsultants with appropriate skills to enhance capabilities.
  • Identify and present new and emergent technologies and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Group Director and other BD resources for BAU pursuits.
  • Support and add to bids and proposals and organise and lead go/no go processes on potential opportunities up to a value of \xc2\xa320M.
  • Act as the \xe2\x80\x98voice of the customer\xe2\x80\x99 when capturing, establishing and finalising user and operational requirements and defining outcomes and strategic benefits.

Key attributes for the role include but are not limited to:
  • Deep understanding of Cyber Security Solutions and/or digital Information systems for UK MoD and the related organisations in UK.
  • Deep understanding of the UK/EMEA competitor and supply chain space in Cyber Security and ICT.
  • Deep knowledge of Enterprise IT and the business structures which typically enable it and how UK procures ICT and military communications and information systems.
  • Good knowledge of military next generation C5ISTAR, digital agenda and secure information systems to address into a customer domain for MoD (Defence Digital) and Defence Intelligence and corresponding customers in the Intelligence Community.
  • Proven experience of operating at CXO/Board level with Government customers and with equivalent in the supply chain with extensive experience of winning Cyber Security consultancy and C2 systems integration type roles.
  • Selling experience into Military and Other Government Department or commercial ICT customers.
  • Good knowledge of current governmental Cyber Security strategy, policy and enforcement and delivery structures in the UK and wider EMEA.
  • Good knowledge of Critical National Infrastructure, national resilience and civil contingencies legislation, policy and compliance in the UK and wider EMEA.
  • Proven experience of operating at CXO/Board level with Government customers and with equivalent in the supply chain.
  • Experience working with industrial partners and can show proven delivery success in bid wins for security programmes from both a UK and International dimension.
  • Able to drive solutions / service and lead customer and partners interactions and can inspire teams around them.
  • Comfortable with developing business \xe2\x80\x98on contract\xe2\x80\x99 and identifying new opportunities.
  • Will have SC clearance today and is prepared to undertake DV clearance and other equivalent clearances.
  • Demonstrates experience of winning and delivering cyber security and information systems / engineering consultancy into the relevant customer domains in UK and possibly NATO and the UK CNI.
  • Demonstrates significant and deep experience in designing and delivering complex cyber and other programmes in public and commercial spaces.
  • Self-starter able to operate independently but also lead and drive a team and can exude confidence and positive energy.
  • Has excellent presentation and written skills and can analyse complex problems.
  • Proved ability to build a pipeline, shape and bid it and win projects and programmes of the
\xc2\xa35M revenue scale.
