An overview of the role:
Working within the telco team across a multi-sector portfolio, the successful candidate will have a range of experience in consulting having worked in both capability and sector specific domains. In today\xe2\x80\x99s evolving macroeconomics, being able to transfer capabilities and strategies between and cross sectors will determine winners and losers in the consulting sector. The role will be pivotal in understanding sector strategies and being able to merge with appropriate capabilities from the company to develop and drive the thought leadership and propositions to the market.

Our Sector unit is a fast-growing team of industry specialists that are driving value creation across the portfolio. Our Unit covers Telecommunications, Media, Technology, Transport and Services, and we are looking for a Senior Director to glue the capabilities we have and drive them to market vertically and transversally so we can maximise the value drive and the differentiation we obtain in the market.
As a senior member of the Sector Unit you\xe2\x80\x99ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team.
We\xe2\x80\x99d love to meet someone with
- Strong experience in the Telco sector, as an anchor area of development, but versed in delivering across any of our other sub-sectors (Media, Technology, Travel, Transport, Services)
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Experience of proposition building and delivery.
- Proven experience in transforming thought leadership into business.
- Ability to attract and retain the right talent inside and outside the organisation in order to build a strong cross-sector capability complementing the technology consulting aspects with a strong view of business and management consulting skills and experience.
- Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
- Business development \xe2\x80\x93 utilising a combination of the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be generating c .\xc2\xa33m of consulting revenues.
