As a Business Central Developer, you will work on our ERP total solution: 4PS Construct, the foundation for all 4PS Portals and 4PS Apps, translating customer needs into innovative applications.



As a Business Central Developer, you obviously prefer to focus on building software. At 4PS, this means translating customer needs into innovative applications, directly contributing to optimizing the primary business processes of our client base.

Working as a Business Central Developer in short

As a Business Central Developer, you will be part of a closely collaborating team. Within this team, we use the Scrum methodology, with short communication lines and the freedom to shape your role as you see fit. In our projects, you will work closely with consultants and clients to define requirements. Together with a tester and other stakeholders, you will create a robust design and test plan. You will then develop the software according to Microsoft standards and apply the ATDD methodology to test the software. At 4PS, we closely follow Microsoft innovations and work with the most recent versions of BC. We use tools such as: Visual Studio Code, SQL, Jira, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and Git.

We work on our ERP system 4PS Construct, based on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we have specifically designed this platform for the construction industry. We have added and extended many modules to ensure optimal use in this sector.



Every day, we work on challenging projects to make the software more robust, perform maintenance, and add new functionalities. We emphasize quality in our work. During software development, we encourage creativity and provide space and freedom. Since we believe that both clients and colleagues should be involved in the entire development process, we regularly consult with them.

You have an MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level; Experience in programming in various programming languages (C/AL, Pascal, or others); Interest in learning the AL programming language. We are happy to facilitate education and training; You are good at analyzing complex matters; Knowledge of and experience with software development processes; You are eager to learn and have the courage to take on new challenges; You have a good command of both Dutch and English.
