Mosaic Island are experts in Design and Assurance of complex IT change - from strategy through to delivery -enabling our clients to accelerate and exceed their business ambitions with confidence.

We are currently seeking a supplier to provide us with Business Architecture services as part of our Architecture Managed Service at an Insurance client.

Key elements for the engagement:

• Work together with the Business Architect team to develop key Business Architecture artifacts such as Business Capability Models, Value Streams and High-level Process Models
• Support the development of roadmaps, to ensure changes agreed will lead to the expected outcome over the determined planning horizon
• Ensure business changes is Benefits/Value driven with a clear understanding of the business problems the organisation aims to resolve.
• Proactively collaborate with Business Lines, to ensure support for the enterprise architecture driven evolution approach

Experience Required:

• A good understanding of other process areas or other industries outside Insurance is beneficial
• Deep understanding of capability model and Value Chain definition.
• Familiarity with and experience of applying business architecture best practice and supporting bodies of knowledge such as BA Guild Bizbok - certification is an advantage
• Skilled at structured problem solving, and able to analyse, breaking them down and solving piece by piece while keeping sight of the overall big picture\'.
• Experience working for complex organisations significant change.
• Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust quickly at all levels within the organisation
• An ability to make intuitive leaps from limited amount of information to create compelling picture
• Strong understanding of operating model definition and business process development at a high level.
• First-class skills and significant experience in the definition of Architectural artefacts eg, architectural models, roadmaps, strategies, principles, standards, patterns within a Business Architecture context.
• Demonstrable experience of working with senior business and technology stakeholders to create a trusted partnership for mutual benefit.
• Experience working for complex organisations undergoing complex and significant transformation, disruption and/or change.

Other Information

We are looking for someone to start in August or September. The engagement Is a hybrid working arrangement, 3 days per week on site In London (Aldgate). OUTSIDE IR35
