Job Description


University of the Arts London is seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive individual to the role of Business & Innovation Data Analyst at the London College of Fashion.

You will play an integral role, providing accurate analytics support to the Graduate Futures, Business & Innovation department. You will collect, process, analyse, and report data on a range of key metrics including student engagement, industry trends, Knowledge Exchange delivery and Graduate Outcomes. Additionally, you will conduct research into and report on alumni and industry data, offering valuable insights that will help maintain opportunities through existing connections with our alumni community and industry partners.

You will work collaboratively with the Graduate Futures team to produce accurate analytics as well as the B&I team, liaising regularly to identify data needs. You will also build and nurture links across the University and other external organisations to amplify opportunities for cooperation across the Graduate Futures, Business & Innovation department to maximise the potential of the resources and expertise available.

Your contributions within this role will aid the development of our Knowledge Exchange (KE) ambitions, to align with London College of Fashion\'s KE strategy.

About you

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of trend research within the creative industry, careers, and enterprise. Previous experience in collecting, transforming, and analysing data is essential, including proficiency in working with databases and dashboards and presenting data to varied audiences. You will possess a range of data visualisation skills and a familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other dashboarding tools. You will also exhibit demonstrable experience of implementing new data systems which have delivered a positive impact.

Excellent communication skills are an essential requirement of this role, including the ability to work independently and maintain positive relationships within different teams, and with stakeholders and senior leaders. You will also be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in different teams and where appropriate, across or with different professional groups.
