Job Description
An innovative, growing technology company in the financial domain is seeking a Software Platform Business Analyst with strong UX skills to join their London-based team. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role that combines business analysis, UX design, and product documentation to help shape and improve a complex platform used in commodities trading and risk management.
What You'll Do
Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, developers, and QA teams. Translate platform feature requests and business needs into clear, actionable epics and user stories. Design wireframes, layouts, prototypes, and visual cues to support user stories. Ensure UX considerations align with functional and strategic goals. Facilitate online workshops and refinement sessions with stakeholders. Maintain user-facing documentation, user guides, and customer-friendly release notes.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience working as a
Business Analyst
on complex software projects. Strong UX design sensibilities with hands-on experience in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq, or similar. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and product development workflows. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised, analytical, and confident engaging with cross-functional teams.Nice to Have
Background in
financial platforms
, especially commodities trading or risk management. Familiarity with software development processes (front-end/back-end) and version control systems.Salary:
